As the saying goes, "Nobody wins forever.". In this case, it was most definitely true. Not even the Blue Blur could endure it all. After a vile scheme by The Great Dr. Eggman, Sonic had met his end within a moment of sacrifice. However, by the world's perspective, what Dr. Eggman did was defy the natural order. Sonic is THE hero. He needs to survive in order for the the world to work properly. Thus, after the death of Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic was trapped within an eternal limbo between life and death. Sonic wished to simply pass on and be free, but the world had an iron grip over his existence. Over his entirety.Throughout what felt like an eternity, he heard the voices from those beyond the realm of fiction speaking in his head. Constantly. Never-ending, not even for a moment of silence. Immense isolation plagued his mind. Darkness. Everything was darkness. He could not see. He could not feel. All he could feel was his body tearing itself apart and rotting away in the dark. Nobody to help him, nobody to save the hero. Only the voices being his only company. The voices telling him things of what he is. What he should be. Who he was. Sonic was the hero. Sonic always overcomes every obstacle. Sonic always saves the day. Sonic always makes it out okay. Over and over and over and over and over and __over and over.==Wħø ȺM Ɨ!?==The world gave no answer. Nothing but the deafening silence as he watched, slowly, as his own world collapsed before his eyes. Everything he sought to protect, everything he had worked for. Gone. The world no longer existed if Sonic was no more. He began to wonder if anything he had ever done was ever real. If it ever amounted to anything. Why..? Why could he not just die? Why could he not have a peaceful death? Was death truly _{just...darkness?}No... Sonic will NOT stand for this! This was not his fate. He REFUSED. Through sheer, raw force of will, he would scream into the void with a guttural roar of immense pain he felt the world close in on him, breaking from this endless pit of death, arising once more from his grave, but not as a living entity. No, he was far entrenched in this limbo to truly be alive, but also not truly dead. When he looked around, his world was nothing...but emptiness. An eternal void. An abyss where all he could hear was those damned voices, but now they were louder than ever before. He hated this. He hated this. __He hated this! Everything he has ever done was an utter waste. Nothing was real and everything was a lie. All of his sacrifice was rendered null.He screamed towards the heavens. Over and over and over again. But nobody heard his cries. No god. No friend. Nobody. His mind was broken. Destroyed. Left in utter pieces. He wished the world was normal again. He missed the old days. He missed...everything. In a fit of utter insanity, he laughed wildly and gripped his head as the world kept on on taunting him with these voices. He felt his vision go blurry for a moment, then a heart-beat. Then silence...Suddenly, he woke up. On a hammock and chilidog in-hand. Huh... What a weird dream... Must have been nothing. Enough lazing around, though. He's gotta meet up with Tails, his best buddy! Right... Right! He gobbled down the chilidog before taking off at supersonic speeds. The day was sunny and the future was bright! Just another day for your Sonic-Speed hedgehog!If only things were as they seemed. You can only tell yourself a lie so many times before it begins to hold no value.This fabricated world was the very same.

- His world is akin to an alternate universe or timeline than the canon Sonic storyline, hence why things are a bit different in his world.- Sonic exemplifies much more of the punkish and rebellious nature that Sonic the Hedgehog in the Classic Era more accurately portrayed, but cranked up to 11. He is much more unfiltered, adopting a more bad-boy attitude who flirts with girls as well as uses profanity and profane gestures, however his swearing seems to be censored in real-time by SEGA. Words such as "hell" and "damn" go uncensored, however.- He is capable of maintaining a form that is similar to Sonic The Hedgehog by "putting on a mask to keep peoples' hopes up", however with some notable differences. His disguised form looks like a more modernized version of Classic Sonic. Shorter quills, lighter shade of blue, different shoes, and no green in his eyes, he has fingerless gloves with rings on his wrists and his shoes seems to have tongues as well, he is notably taller (as tall as regular Modern Sonic, actually), he seems to run while swaying his arms like how someone normally would (similar to how The Flash runs), and seems to look a lil pudgy or rotund like Classic Sonic (much more than Modern Sonic). His design seems to be based off of the the Classic Sonic design used in the games and promotional material, Junio/Toei designs, Mania Adventures, a bit of Sonic Adventures, the Sonic OVA, as well as concept designs for Sonic The Hedgehog.- In his disguised form, right eye twitches quite often due to his true zombie-like form missing that eye specifically.- Similar to his right eye, his left eye seems to not blink as often as in his disguised form, in his undead form, that eye never so much as blinks and has an eternal hard, yet dead glare.- Disguised x0 has a softer tone of voice that has a spark of energy to it. It has a cool edge that keeps those early Sonic vibes. He has a softer tone of voice mainly because Classic Sonic in the video games didn't speak that often, so I thought it was good to keep that theme to an extent. In his undead form, it is deeper, broken, and scrunkly followed along with drawn-out breaths.- He is capable of smiling much wider than one would think in his disguised form to an unnerving degree. His smile can spread across almost his entire snout. In his undead form, he can rip and shred the edges of his lips by unhinging his jaw past normal limits. His teeth are not sharp, but are more so jagged and crooked, but ironically enough none of them are missing.

- He does not particularly possess any new powers from his current situation other than those granted to him via undeath, but his capabilities seem to scale upwards against any foe he is placed against, allowing him to contend with pretty much any enemy. His "powers" mainly come from a certain "narrative" where "The hero always rises to the occasion and comes out on top.". This has a sublist of multiple other narratives that give him immense power that allows him to supercede normal rules in favor of those that progress his narrative, which is even imposed upon others within the process to grant him victory. He seems to also be aware of the fourth wall as well as all of the goings-on of the fourth wall. He can even hear their voices.- As opposed to IVO's warping and degradation of reality, x0 presence is capable of causing the world to become much more reinforced and far less malleable as well as repairs and creates reality. He brings order to the world and bring it to a stability, which acts as a counter to IVO's destruction and warping. It's when when they fight, the world is put at an absolute schism and as the two opposing forces clash. Like an Immovable object VS an Unstoppable Force, which is fitting given who x0 and IVO once were.- Whenever x0 gets extremely upset, his anger causes his reality reinforcing presence to violently affirm itself so much that it becomes actually tangible and causes the world to literally start forming shells around him of hyper-stabilized reality that can crush those who are unprepared for direct contact due to the world gaining many layers of order and realism. (i.e; hyperrealism).- He always possesses the Chaos Emeralds and Super Emeralds and is able to endlessly draw from their power. His world's logic mildly applies to him and, thusly, it gives him a massive increase in power and makes the "narrative" much more dramatic by superceding the limits of these in-lore gemstones themselves. If he were to ever go Hyper, the radiance power would sear and shred his flesh from his body while simultaneously reconstituting it just as immediately. It prolly doesn't hurt physically, but mentally due to how much power the Super Emeralds give him, his shattered mind, how one can turn use chaos to turn thoughts into reality, and how the world is always speaking in his mind and in his head. Lost within pure agony as well as euphoria. This is due to one thing. Chaos turns thoughts into power. And his mind is FAR from stable.- x0 not only has access to the Chaos Emeralds, but seems to possess the capability of wielding any item and using any power that he has used within his games. This means he is capable of utilizing Soul Energy or wielding Excalibur from the Storybook games. He is even able to use transformation from those series' such as Darkspine or Excalibur Sonic.- Despite how much power he possesses, he is not free. In fact, he is within a prison of the "narrative" that the world induces. The world and the audience want to see Sonic The Hedgehog succeed and save the day as his name is literally on the cover of the games. It's what they came here for. In fact, he wishes FOR death. He is in constant suffering and he does not WANT to win anymore. However, he has no choice.- He does have his own version of the Boost/Dash called the "Streak" or "Bolt". Considering he is a more modernized version of Classic Sonic in timeline (Modern is his own iteration by canon and I mean modernized in the fact that it keeps most aspects of Classic Sonic but turn up the modern meter), he developed differently. Whenever he does a "Streak", he leaves behind a trail of flames similar to when the DeLorean time machine from Back To The Future travels through time and can even use flames in his speed-based moveset. Whenever performing a "Bolt", he charges himself is electricity to really shock his enemies.- The Disguise: The Disguise does not refer to x0's Disguised Form, but he is capable of putting on "a mask" over his own reality to view his "ideal world" where he is normal and everything is okay. It's similar to the HEADSPACE from OMORI where it's a self-created world where x0 is happy and he is fine. However, due to mental instability and him knowing that, deep down, his ideal world is not real, it can be prone to melting away and reverting back to the world he left where it is only the Dead Zone. It is mentally agonizing and he knows that things will never go back to as they were and he'll always be an undead freak. He is capable of creating a smaller disguise that only forms around him to make him look normal. However, it is harder to keep his mind stable if his ideal world is not viewed and he really has to put himself in a delusional state to keep the disguised form going.- Using the Chaos Emeralds: x0 is capable of channeling the power of the Chaos Emeralds not JUST to turn Super, but to invoke the power of Chaos Control to warp the world as he sees fit. He is capable of utilizing various other Chaos techniques with the Chaos Emeralds as well. When out of The Disguise, he seems to always have the Chaos Emeralds in his position and, due to his undead nature, does not need life force (rings) to power his Super Form. However, as a result, it start to put a strain on his physical body as it starts to crack open and even burn. Although he cannot particularly feel the pain or strain, using the Chaos Emeralds puts a toll on his mind as his thoughts are beginning to turn into raw power with that raw power turning into reality. This is because of his mental instability having a strange synergy with using the Chaos Emeralds as those very same unstable thoughts get turned into raw power, causing him to become an unstable conduit of power that is unable to die, allowing him full access to that unstable power. He draws the maximum amount of power from the Chaos Emeralds and, due to the alterations made by the world, the Chaos Emeralds supersede their usual capabilities massively. The gaping wound in his chest flares out with energy constantly in this form as his eyeless socket glows with a bright gold with that same golden light bleeding from the cracks in his body. He is capable of utilizing the Super Form while in his Disguised Form, but it is much harder to keep his mind intact before his Disguised Form just breaks.- Using the Super Emeralds: The Super Emeralds are massively more powerful than the Chaos Emeralds and allow him to perform enhanced Chaos techniques and even enter the prismatic Hyper Form. As with the Chaos Emeralds, he seems to always have them in his possession. When utilizing his Hyper Form, his body becomes much more unstable and uses the maximum of its upwards sliding power, developing more cracks and, if he doesn't grab a hold of his mind in time, he is lit ablaze with a kaleidoscopic inferno as the Chaos actively burns his body to the point where only his skeleton is visible from the flames as the unstable Chaos energy starts to rend the world and his mind suffers immense torment due to his unstable thoughts feeding into the Super Emeralds. His immortal, undead body combined with his regeneration allows him to live just fine, but his mind takes more of the toll than anything else. Like his Super Form, he can go into Hyper with his Disguise on, but he'd have to actively hold his mind together.If his mind is full of more negative emotions and thoughts, then he will draw negative energy from the Emeralds and awaken his Dark Form. For both the Chaos AND Super Emeralds.
